Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
FERC is an independent regulatory agency within the Department of Energy that regulates the transmission and sale of natural gas for resale in interstate commerce and oversees environmental matters related to natural gas, oil, electricity and hydroelectric projects.


The United States Department of Energy (DOE)
The mission of the DOE is to enhance the security of the nation by securing safe and reliable sources of energy.


The Energy Information Administration (EIA)
Created by Congress in 1977, is a statistical agency of the U.S. Department of Energy.


Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Energy (DTE)
The DTE is responsible for regulating safety in the transportation and gas pipeline areas and for the siting of energy facilities


ISO New England Inc.
Established as a not-for-profit, private corporation on July 1, 1997 following its approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The organization immediately assumed responsibility for managing the New England region's electric bulk power generation and transmission systems and administering the region's open access transmission tariff.


Northeast Gas Association.
The regional trade association representing gas distribution companies, natural gas transmission companies, an LNG supplier, and associate member companies.
