Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)
FERC is an independent regulatory agency within the Department of Energy that regulates the transmission and sale of natural gas for resale in interstate commerce and oversees environmental matters related to natural gas, oil, electricity and hydroelectric projects.
The United States Department of Energy (DOE)
The mission of the DOE is to enhance the security of the nation by securing safe and reliable sources of energy.
The Energy Information Administration (EIA)
Created by Congress in 1977, is a statistical agency of the U.S. Department of Energy.
Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU)
The DTE is responsible for regulating safety in the transportation and gas pipeline areas and for the siting of energy facilities.
GIGGNL
GIIGNL provides its members with overviews of the general economic condition of the LNG industry and current, state-of-the art LNG technology, operations and best practices. This information enhances facility operations, diversifies contractual techniques, and supports industry positions with international agencies. To this end, GIIGNL members share information about commercial and technical developments in LNG, including safety incidents at member facilities.
ISO New England Inc.
Established as a not-for-profit, private corporation on July 1, 1997 following its approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). The organization immediately assumed responsibility for managing the New England region's electric bulk power generation and transmission systems and administering the region's open access transmission tariff.
Northeast Gas Association.
The regional trade association representing gas distribution companies, natural gas transmission companies, an LNG supplier, and associate member companies.

The Center for LNG
The Center for Liquefied Natural Gas (CLNG) is a trade association of LNG producers, shippers, terminal operators and developers, energy trade associations and natural gas consumers. CLNG is a clearinghouse of educational and technical information. It also facilitates rational issue discussion and the development of public policies that support LNG’s increasing contribution toward meeting the nation’s energy needs and supporting economic growth.
SIGTTO
SIGTTO is a non profit making company, formed to promote high operating standards and best practices in gas tankers and terminals throughout the world. It provides technical advice and support to its members and represents their collective interests in technical and operational matters.
