WEAVER'S COVE ENERGY PROJECT TEAM

Weaver’s Cove Energy has assembled a highly experienced team of employees, external consultants and contractors who will carry this project to conclusion.

The CEO of Weaver’s Cove Energy is Gordon Shearer, who spent 13 years as the CEO of Cabot LNG Corporation and has extensive experience in LNG project development and implementation.

The President and Chief Operating Officer of Weaver’s Cove Energy is Ted Gehrig, who spent ten years with Cabot LNG; he was Cabot’s Project Manager for the Trinidad LNG project and then President and Project Manager for Cabot Power Corporation, which permitted a large cogeneration plant situated adjacent to and integrated with their Everett LNG Terminal.

Supporting the project development is Leon Bowdoin, formerly with Duke Energy where, among other responsibilities, he oversaw the construction of the Providence, Rhode Island, LNG plant; he was the Plant Manager for ten years.

The CFO of Weaver's Cove Energy is Joe Wilders, who has been with Hess Corporation for over 30 years. He has served in various Finance and Accounting positions within its Marketing & Refining division as well as Exploration & Production divisions, including CFO for its HOVENSA Refining Joint Venture in St. Croix.

Marcia MacClary manages public affairs and community outreach activities. Ms. MacClary brings more than 30 years of successful strategic planning and public outreach experience to Weaver’s Cove Energy.

John Bentley, a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy, contributes to the overall development of the project, with a focus on marine operations. Previous to joining our team, John had worked at Poten & Partners, Inc., in the Projects and Consulting Group.

The Vice President of Marketing is Michael Petit, who previously worked with Calpine Corporation, PG&E National Energy Group and J. Makowski Associates (where he was responsible for commercial and regulatory activity impacting long-term planning, origination and negotiation of natural gas commodity and transportation arrangements).

Gregg Landes is the Vice President of Planning and Business Development for Weaver's Cove Energy. Prior to joining the WCE team, he spent ten years with Cabot Corporation, (including five years within their LNG division), and five years prior with Exxon Company U.S.A.'s fuel products marketing organization. He has over 15 years experience in the energy and specialty chemicals industries, with experience in strategic planning, financial management, business development and general management.

Weaver's Cove Energy's Manager of Environment, Health & Safety is Ben Frothingham, a certified geologist, licensed site professional, and licensed Coast Guard captain with over 23 years of environmental consulting and project development experience. He built his career at Environmental Resources Management (ERM) and has worked on multiple LNG projects both in the U.S. and abroad, including environmental and permitting issues at the Atlantic LNG project in Trinidad and the Suez LNG Terminal in Everett, MA.

Pat Convery, P.E., Engineering Project Manager, has been operating, designing and constructing critical energy infrastructure in New England and nationwide for over 20 years. He has developed designs and managed projects for interstate pipelines, local distribution companies, LNG terminals, power plants and industrial energy consumers.

The Pipeline Project Manager is Mario Tavolieri, BSMET; he has over 20 years experience in the energy industry including design, construction operations and maintenance of high pressure interstate natural gas transmission pipelines, local natural gas distribution systems and liquefied natural gas terminals.

Our added team of contractors and consultants is strong and has decades of in-depth successful experience in dealing with LNG projects.


Technical Design

Paul Johnson, Mashpee, Massachusetts
– Retired Vice President of Engineering for Cabot LNG Corporation and with over 30 years of experience in the LNG industry, Mr. Johnson was involved in the initial design of the Everett, MA, terminal and the Trinidad LNG project, as well as numerous upgrades to the Everett facility. He has also been active on the advisory committee of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), which establishes safety standards for the U.S. LNG industry.

Don Coers, Naperville, Illinois
– Retired Vice President of Chicago Bridge & Iron Company and the premier designer and builder of most U.S. LNG facilities, Mr. Coers has extensive experience in the engineering and design of energy facilities.

Chicago Bridge & Iron Company, Houston, Texas
– Chicago Bridge & Iron (CB&I) is performing the project feasibility analysis and is expected to act as the Engineering Procurement and Construction contractor for the project.

Coler & Colantonio, Inc., Norwell, Massachusetts
– Coler & Colantonio, Inc. has been very active in providing consulting services to the expanding natural gas transmission market for approximately 15 years. To accommodate this market, Coler & Colantonio, Inc., has established a utilities/linear projects group that includes: surveying engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, geologists, hydrogeologists and environmental scientists. This group includes the expertise necessary to assist transmission companies in winning projects, selecting alignments, surveying and mapping, refining the alignment, permitting, design, and construction. Coler & Colantonio, Inc. is currently supporting this project with surveying, mapping and engineering design services.

Environmental Resources Management New England, Boston, Massachusetts
– Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is responsible for the environmental remediation aspects of the project site and is among the most experienced environmental firms in New England. ERM has experience in LNG from its involvement with the Trinidad LNG project. ERM also brings extensive foundation design experience to the project and has designed foundations for both LNG tanks and nuclear power plants.

Epsilon Associates, Inc., Maynard, Massachusetts
– Epsilon Associates is a broad based, environmental firm with a successful, strong history in energy project development in New England. Epsilon will be responsible for leading the environmental permitting of the project.

Weston Geophysical, Lexington, Massachusetts
– Weston Geophysical is one of the leading geophysical consulting firms in the U.S. and will be responsible for the seismic design and analysis for the project.

Vine Associates, Inc., Newburyport, Massachusetts
– Vine Associates performs dredging/marine design and permitting throughout New England and will support the dredging analysis and permitting.

Marine Safety International, Newport, Rhode Island
– Marine Safety International has prepared a simulation model of the upper Narragansett Bay and the Taunton River. This model will be used to prove the viability of LNG tanker transit to the terminal to support the design of the dredge program and the turning basin and to train the pilots and tug captains who will bring the tankers to the terminal.

Tri-Mont Engineering, Braintree, Massachusetts
– Tri-Mont will be responsible for designing local utility requirements, as well as providing general engineering support to the project. Tri-Mont designed the cogeneration/terminal interface for the Everett Terminal/Cabot Power project.

Han-Padron Associates, New York, New York
– Han-Padron is a leading designer of marine infrastructure and will have responsibility for the design of the marine berth and mooring arrangements. Han-Padron will also assist in the planning and permitting of the dredging operations.

Applied Science Associates, Inc., Narragansett, Rhode Island
– Applied Science Associates, Inc. is assisting with modeling of dredging operations and evaluation of potential benthic impacts of dredging and dredge material placement operations.

Moffatt & Nichol, New York, New York
– Moffatt & Nichol is a major marine design/engineering firm that is working on shore-based structures, stabilization and placement of dredge materials on the site, site drainage and dredge volume calculations.

Concept 2 Delivery, Cory, North Carolina
– Concept 2 Delivery is assisting with dredging, dredge material stabilization and dredge permitting support.

Baker Botts LLP, Washington, D.C.
– Baker Botts is the project’s FERC regulatory counsel. The Weaver’s Cove Energy legal team is led by Bruce Kiely, a senior partner with Baker Botts, one of the most experienced FERC lawyers in Washington, D.C., with significant experience in all aspects of LNG projects.

Keegan Werlin, Boston, Massachusetts
– Keegan Werlin (KW) is the project's Massachusetts regulatory counsel. KW has extensive experience in state permitting issues for major energy facilities.

Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale & Dorr, Boston, Massachusetts
- Hale & Dorr represents the project on real estate, construction contracting, corporate structuring and tax support matters. Hale & Dorr is one of Boston’s largest law firms and has substantial experience with regional energy projects.

Benik & Associates, P.C., Providence, Rhode Island
Benik & Associates is the project's Rhode Island-based legal counsel. They are assisting with Rhode Island Coastal Zone Management regulatory matters and Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management permitting activities.

- Rich May is the project’s Boston-based legal counsel, assisting with pipeline right-of-way issues.


Public Affairs and Political Relations

Grasso Associates, Needham, Massachusetts
– Prior to forming Grasso Associates, LLC, Mr. Grasso served as Vice President of Public and Government Affairs and Investor Relations for Providence Energy Corporation and its major subsidiary, Providence Gas Company. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Public and Governmental Affairs for the New England Division of Southern Union Company. For nearly 25 years, Mr. Grasso has held senior positions for leading energy companies, including Algonquin Gas Transmission, Maritimes & Northeast Pipeline and PanEnergy. Among many responsibilities, he served as chief corporate spokesperson and directed federal, state and regulatory affairs, as well as media, investor and community relations. He has also served as an adjunct professor of communications for ten years at Boston University’s College of Communication, teaching both graduate and undergraduate courses.

Giroux & Company, Fall River, Massachusetts
– Giroux & Company, a real estate firm serving Fall River and surrounding communities, will provide advice on local real estate issues associated with the project.


Security

Geer Security Consulting International, Inc., Wilmington, Delaware
- Jim Geer will advise the project on security matters. He was most recently Vice President of Global Security for the DuPont Corporation. Prior to that, he was Deputy Director of the FBI responsible for Research and Special Programs.
